Chronic Health

Living with a chronic or ongoing health condition can affect more than your physical health. It can influence your identity, emotions, relationships, independence, work, and plans for the future. Living in Layers is a supportive four-week group for adults who want a safe space to connect with others who understand the complexities of living with chronic illness.

Guided by the reminder that your diagnosis is part of your story, not your whole identity, participants will have opportunities to process their experiences, strengthen coping skills, explore changing roles and relationships, and build emotional resilience.

Over four weeks, we’ll explore life beyond the diagnosis, grieving what has changed, relationships and support, and living with uncertainty. Sessions will include supportive discussion, reflection, practical coping strategies, and opportunities for meaningful connection.

You don’t have to explain what it’s like or navigate it alone. This group is designed to provide a compassionate space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported while discovering ways to create meaning and hope alongside ongoing health challenges.
